925 BC – Rehavam ben Shlomo fortifies Hebron and the cities of Judah.
720 BC – King Hezekiah strengthens Hebron in preparation for the Assyrian invasion and establishes food reserves there.
586 BC – Destruction of the First Temple. The Hebron area is occupied and inhabited by the Reds.
